Some new phones are going to jump into the market this quarter like Motorola Atrix and HTC sensation S, Sony experia and arc.
I always wonder whats the right price for a mobile, when ever i buy one, but i could never judge. But recently since the high end phone had come, i had been carrying out a kind of market research on what's the max someone in India would pay for a phone. The answer is currently its 30,000 Indian rupees. Take iPhone 4 or 3GS it din do well in India, because of wrong pricing. I had spent the past few months talking to people who buy almost a phone in two to three months and all i could get was a max of 30k.
If its below 25k you will have real good no of people buying. And if its below 20, then thats what is happening to Defy, and if its less than 10k, then you will know the reason why Corby is selling hot cakes, even today.
30k max, mobile companies should realise.

Aliens and Antarctica
I don know how, but i was and is obsessed but two things my whole life Aliens and Antarctica. The one person or a group of people i wanted meet is Aliens and one place i want to visit before i die is Antarctica. Antarctica is possible i suppose, but aliens I am really not sure. All those movies made in the 70s 80s and 90s about how the world will look in 2000 looks very funny now, because 2011 looks no different from 1997. In those movies where they had shown that we will have transport systems which can fly and the clean cities with complex shining fly overs have still not appeared. Movies and novels which have stories about future have always been overplayed with imaginations or may be the writers wish, but nothing changed. I wish the same to happen and not like 2012 and the new movie world invasion, so that i can visit at-least Antarctica, may be meeting aliens is a risky business. If you aliens are listening to this by some sort of capturing transmissions from earth, my message is 'please don invade us, we are nice people, may be we can teach you on how to cook tasty Biryani and Pizza and you can teach us on how to convert water to fuel, lets be friends, that will help to fulfill my wish to meet you guys'

iPad2 on Techradar, will it reach India this year
Check out the iPad2 review on techradar.
But it's quite sad that it will reach India in 2012 when iPad3 will hit the market, till then buy the stuff from grey market.

Android and India
Android has been the talk of the town. But as far as India is concerned i don se much of development, i was wondering why. They reason in Chinese phones and Nokia, the basic Indian market is right now relying on the cheap Chinese phones and Nokia. We are used to the inter-phase of Nokia or the cheap price of Chinese phone. Once the Chinese phones start using the Android OS and Nokia comes with its first android phone then you will see the market for android. Since android is free like Linux the Chinese phone makers are going to exploit ( they are already) the OS like hell, you will find the cheap 2000 rupees phone with touch screen with android in a years time in India.
Already the top phones makers like Sony Ericsson, HTC and Samsung has started using android, once the Adam Pad, the much talked about 3000 rupees Ipad is released, every Indian will have one. Comparing the population and usage it also holds a big market.
What if schools start giving one Adams Pad to each students and make it compulsory. Then Ipad will loose its foot in Indian market, even in black with cheap price. Before that if these guys realise it and reduce the price then they are saved.

Dosa, Idly and Appam

One of my friends had a guest from Mumbai. The guest wanted to try Mallu food, so decided to go to a Mallu restaurant, Kairali. As we were ordering food, my friend was explaining the guest about each food iteam, about how it’s made, how it looks and the taste.
While he was ordering Appam the guest asked him what Appam is. It was bit difficult for him to explain the difference between Dosa and Appam, as he was struggling to answer the questions shot by the guest, the Appam arrived.
My friend said “this is Appam”.
The guest gave a beautiful discription of Appam.
He said “Wow, it’s a Dosa with a idly in the centre”

it was quite sad, mad and pathetic
For the past three nights the only thing that is appearing in any news channel is mumbai siege.it took three nights to come to an end, as a common man i see that there is a major intelligence failure.Every news channel has been talking about how smart the terrorist were and how well trained they are , but as far as it is seen, they don seem to be smart, instead i see a flaw in the national security. How fragile is our security that the terrorist commuted the sea way.
For the past few years all the human rights gangs have been crying loud against ATS and other police teams for taking rigerous action when it comes to terrorism but this time ATS,police, army,NSG,Marine and what not ,every agency has lost lives in the operation, now no human rights group is crying against any of the terrost organisations or any thing.Does people have to die and give lives to prove their credibility.Atleast from now people should start trusting our agencies and cooperate with them, otherwise there is no point.Hats off to the agencies which acted so well and solved it.We lost some of the best police men like the ATS chief in this operation, we should be learning a hell lot from this whole three nights.
Unless people cooperate with police even they can do nothing.
This is the country were even the freedom movement had a non violence as their way to get freedom but today we are in a state of fear and hatred. It all starts from how parents grow their children, it starts from home.So much of hatred, violence and abuse every were instead of love.Starting from schools to colleges.Even when a teacher hits a kid to parents using beautyful absusive words in english at home can contribute to the growth of violence.
We should start acting and thinking interms of a long term agenda to solve such a crisis of violence.
so much is seen on news channel ,so much read on sites, blogs and papers i feel devestated and tired to talk or write about such a thing.
I really appriciate Mr.L.K.Advani and other party leaders, when they took the whole thing in the interest of nation and never made this politics till now ,when there is elections on the edge. For the first time i feel proud of the politicians in INDIA ,in the whole mess.
